Product Description: Colorless and transparent liquid. The relative density is about 1.37. Can be miscible with water or alcohol. Decompose when heated to 130 ℃. Can react with metal elements, metal fluorides, oxides, hydroxides, or carbonates to form corresponding fluoroborates, which are toxic.
Usage: The main component of fluoroboric acid electroplating solution. Used as a catalyst for alkylation and polymerization, and as a raw material for the preparation of various fluoroborates. 2.5% solution is used for electrolytic polishing of pure aluminum. It can also be used for cleaning and corrosion of metal surface oxides and silicate films.
