Recently, six projects including Yuehua Chemical and Jinji Chemical signed contracts to settle in the Salt Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park in Yunmeng County, Hubei Province, with a total contract investment of 630 million yuan.
\nYunmeng Salt Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park is the only two type demonstration zone for salt chemical industry in the Wuhan urban circle. Last year, it successfully introduced a joint investment of 1 billion yuan from Hubei Huarui and Gehua Group to build a project with an annual output of 100000 tons of ion membrane, 50000 tons of chlorinated benzene, and 30000 tons of dichlorobenzene, achieving new breakthroughs in the “two alkali” project. Relying on the Salt Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park and based on the “two alkalis”, Yunmeng County has introduced upstream, midstream, and downstream chemical projects, extended the coarse salt chemical industry chain, and transformed Yunmeng from a single salt production to a salt chemical industry.
\nAt present, the environmental impact assessment of the park has been approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and more than 20 large-scale chemical enterprises such as Huaxiang Chemical and Huachang Chemical have been introduced to settle in. A salt chemical industry base has been established for the production of chlorine fine chemical products, non natural amino acid products, organic silicon products, and synthetic material products.<\/p>\n
